about

Learn To Live is from my Country album: The Refuelers... I originally wrote this song with Garth Brooks in mind. It's a song about life and how to live it.........

lyrics

LEARN TO LIVE
Written by: Tone (Anthony “Tone” Pfeifer)

I'd been lookin' at Jamie for at least a million years.
She had become the reason for all my wants and all my fears.
So I shined up my old pickup truck and I said those words just right.
I took her to the county fair that night.

I tried to win her heart by spending my last dime.
I gave it all I had, but I missed it every time.
Jamie took me by the hand and with her deep blue eyes, she said,
“come on boy you've already won the prize.”

Chorus:
You've gotta ride like the wind.
Fight like your gonna win.
And if you think you love her give it all you can.
Be the kinda man who's not afraid to take a stand.
Learn To Live by giving life a chance.

Now Jamie said she loved me, but I found I wanted more.
The thought of asking for her hand had me shaken' to the core.
I knew that only one thing was bound to set me free,
so I said, “Jamie girl, will you marry me?”

Chorus:

Two years down the road she blessed me with my son.
And I began to realize that my work had just begun.
He had a lot of questions, bout how he came to be.
These here are the words he heard from me....

Chorus:
